2. Data controller
The controller of personal data processed by the service is OBSCURA CULT. Data is protected in accordance with applicable law and stored on secured servers.
3. Purposes of processing
Personal data is processed to:
- Fulfill orders placed through the online store.
- Communicate with Customers about their orders.
- Record an initiated checkout for analysis and to enable purchase completion. Contact details and cart contents are retained for up to 30 days; no marketing messages are sent without separate consent.
- Send commercial information (newsletter), where the Customer has consented.

The legal basis for recording an initiated checkout is the Controller's legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in analysing the purchase process and supporting an initiated purchase. You may object at any time by contacting us.
4. Cookies
The online store uses cookies. These are small text files sent by the web server and stored by browser software. They allow the website to recognize the type of device used when the browser reconnects. Only the server that created them can read the information they contain. Cookies make previously visited websites easier to use.
5. Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the store, including clicks, scrolling and navigation between pages. Before consent is granted or after it is rejected, Clarity operates in a limited cookieless mode. Once analytics cookies are accepted, page views can be connected into sessions and session recordings can be created. Advertising consent for Clarity remains disabled.
6. User rights
Every Customer has the right to access and correct their personal data and to request that its processing cease. To exercise these rights, email hello@obscuracult.pl.
